This two-story project is an exquisite, super villa influenced by Mediterranean design. The central floor-to-ceiling windows of the Villa let in plenty of natural light and thanks to this we can enjoy a large double-height living room completely diaphanous. This creates seamless transitions between indoors and outdoors, where the union of different materials such as stone, wood, iron and lush vegetation provide a stunning backdrop.

The new shop is located in an industrial building of 500 square meters and in the same space tourist attention, information on routes, restoration, sale and repair of bicycles.

We wanted to create a totally new place, where nature and sustainability would stand out. In addition, we did not want the bicycles to be crammed together, but displayed in an organic and exclusive way.

The potential of the project was to encompass all the services in a huge space, with ceilings over 9 meters high, this is where we decided to lower the feeling of vertigo to height, using this suspension of oak wood pergolas, suspended with braided steel cables.

There are two “boxes” within the space, one is the kitchen, where they prepare cold food and make dishes, and the other and with special attention, is the bicycle workshop, where we wanted to give prominence by opening it facing the public, these two boxes have been treated with great detail, we wanted to round the corners to disappear aggressive vertices in space, thus we got much more fluidity to the space.

Elegance, Purism, Minimalism, sanctuary, are adjectives that for us define these 4 houses that we have designed in this promotion, its name comes as we have built the house around a large courtyard of more than 15m2, where it takes on an incredible protagonism, the land of this property came with very marked parameters of urbanism, which have forced us to meet a number of unusual regulations in the area.

The project aims to convert the current space totally diaphanous, in a student residence with capacity for more than 100 students. With single, double or even quadruple rooms, some of them with the option of integrating a kitchen inside.

When we were commissioned to design these single-family homes, the first order of business was to imagine the exterior with a ventilated facade combined with wood slats. However, the challenge was to find the right balance of materials, so that the house did not appear cold or overly woody.

The key was to soften it enough to allow for relaxed Mediterranean living while at the same time reinforcing its concrete base. To do this, we opened up the first floor into a comfortable living room connected directly to the kitchen and a first floor suite, inside. We installed wood paneling in various parts of the house. The two-level land by urban planning regulations, was not a problem, as we knew how to differentiate and mark very well the program of the houses.
